Are you a pegfectionist?

Too big - take up too much room in the peg basket
Strong, but too hard for the kids to put on and off
Kids' fingers get pinched in these (and they are old and brittle)
Too big (and they are old and brittle)
My new favourite pegs - very slim (so I can fit heaps of them in the peg
basket), always the "right way up" and easy for the kids to use. Perfect!
Do you have a favourite peg?

Oh I laughed so much cause I have to admit, yes, I am a bit of a 'pegfectionist'. They have to be the same type and no more than two colours. My fav however are more like your second photo - I don't want the 15mnth old to be able to pull them off yet as she doesn't fold and put the washing away! (She's the star of my WW this week - and her horrendous mess lol)

I don't have a favourite but I do get upset when my husband pegs t-shirts right in the middle.  Agree about those ones pinching kids!

I use the same ones as your favourites!

That's very creative! I like the strong pegs myself, but most of mine are weathered and brittle. You just reminded me that I need to buy new ones!

They are the ones I love too.  They were a total accidental find too.

My favourite pegs are just as yours is.

I am a peg rebel... don't use them at all. For some reason this drives my husband nuts. Ps love the detail of the pics!

Cute pics! I am a bit OCD about hanging washing... Pegs have to match, big pegs for big items, heavy things on front row, smalls in the middle....Oh dear, all my arbitrary rules for washing would be too embarrassing to list...

Love these fun shots , thanks for linking up.
Answer is no I don't care except if hubby pegs in the middle too and leaves marks.

Haha I do understand. I don't mind about the pegs matching, but I do like all the same things to go together in rows (all Mr 4's pants together, Mr 1's pants together, etc). Having the heavy things in the front makes perfect sense - they dry better! I put cloth nappies in the front for the same reason :)

Thanks Trish :) I have certain ways I like things to be hung up too! (I actually don't peg shirts at all... they go on hangers).

Hehe... My lovely husband doesn't hang things out quite as I like either - I just try not to look! (I don't want him to think I don't appreciate his efforts!)

Thanks Misha. I have a pegless friend - even on outside washing. I don't get it! Doesn't everything fall off the line in the wind?

You have good taste Tamara :)

Yes me too :)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. My husband said "gee, must be slim pickings in the blog world today for you to write about pegs..." lol.

You have good taste :)

Erin @ Lohtown Life said...

That's a very healthy attitude :) It doesn't REALLY matter whether all my pegs are the perfect ones... but it would be nice ;)

Glad you enjoyed the post :)

I understand about not wanting the washing to all get pulled off - Mr Fun used to pull all my washing off at that age too (he's getting better now).
